     Hendrick Pieterse Wyckoff ¦Hendrick Wyckoff, born 1658 in New Amsterdam, NY; died December 29, 1744 in Flatlands, L.I., NY. He married Helena.Notes for Hendrick Wyckoff: Hendrick Pieterse Wijckoff, native of this country, (born here), is listed as taking the Oath of Allegiance in Kings County in the Province of New York on the 26th-30th of September 1687. His place of residence is listed as Fflackland (Flatlands). Hendrick, third son of Pieter Claesen, married Helena ? and had no children. He died in 1744, aged 90, leaving his farm on Long Island to his nephew John, son of Mayken Willemse. His nephew John, Mayken's son, changed his name to Wyckoff as a provision of Hendrick Wyckoff's will. I, HENDRICK WYCKOFF, of Flatlands, in Kings County, yeoman, being infirm of body. After payment of all debts, I leave to my wife Helena the use of all my houses, lands, and movable estate without the interference of any person during her widowhood and no longer. After her death I leave to my loving kinsman, Johanes Williamse Wyckoff, son of Peter Williamse, all and singular my real and personal estate in Flatlands, and all my wood lands and cleared lands in Gravesend, and all personal estate except one negro girl, which I give to my wife Helena. I leave to my loving cousin (nephew), Peter Wyckoff, son of my eldest brother, Claas Peterse Wyckoff, £5. I make my wife executor. Witnesses, Hermanus Hoogland, Daniel Rapalye, Christopher Codwise. Proved, December 10, 1744. !Married twice to Geertje & Helena who survived him. Shrouds were purchased for three children between 1686-1712. No surviving children. His estate was left to Johannes Willemsen, grandson of his sister Mayken, upon the death or remarriage of his widow Helena.
     Hendrick Pieterse Wyckoff, son of Pieter Claesen Wyckoff and Grietje Cornelise Van Ness, was born in 1658 at New Amersfoort, New York.1,3,2

     Hendrick married Mrs. Helena Wyckoff in 1683, at Flatlands, Kings, New York.4,2

     Hendrick Pieterse Wyckoff left a will on 25 July 1741 at New York; He devised his property in Flatlands to Johannes Willemse (a grandson of his sister Mayke or Maria, who married Willem Willemse of Gravelands), on the condition that he assumed the surname of Wyckoff, which condition he complied with.5

     Hendrick died on 6 December 1744, at Flatlands, Kings, New York.4,2
