     Maurice E. Moore, son of Edward W. Moore and Maria L. Davis, was born on 25 December 1869 at Holden, Penobscot, Maine.1,2,3

     Maurice, at age 25, son of Edward W. Moore and Maria L. Davis, married Nellie Evelyn Blood at age 20, daughter of Augustus B. Blood and Jane H. Pinkham, on 14 August 1895 at Dedham, Hancock, Maine, married by Richard B. Mills, Minister of the Gospel, Holden, Maine.3

     Maurice E. Moore died on 28 July 1934 at Bucksport, Hancock, Maine, at age 64. Maurice died from consumption.3

     Maurice and Nellie appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bourne, Barnstable, Massachusetts, enumerated 2 May 1910. He was working as a driver team for a private farm. Their children, Waverly B., Florence G., Clare and Hera and Nellie's mother, Jane were listed as living with them..6

     Maurice and Nellie appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Dedham, Hancock, Maine, enumerated 8 April 1930. Maurice was listed working as a road laborer. Their daughter, Hera, her husband, Cedric and their children, Norma M. and Edward W. were listed as living with them.7
