Joseph H. Voorhees, husband of Garetta V D Vliet
     Joseph Hardenburgh Voorhees, son of Joseph L. Voorhees and Dinah Hardenbergh Van Doren, was born circa 2 September 1839.1

     Joseph married Garetta Van Dyke Vliet, daughter of Richard Sutton Vliet and Ida Van Dyke, on 9 July 1864, at Bedminster, Somerset, New Jersey.4,5 Joseph Hardenburgh Voorhees witnessed the death of Joseph Hardenburgh Voorhees on 31 January 18836 and was buried at New Germantown Cemetery, Oldwick, Hunterdon, New Jersey.6
