     Daniel married Catharine Van Dyke, daughter of Captain Jan Janse Van Dyke and Teuntje Thyssen Lanen Van Pelt, circa 1692, Soon after their marriage they moved to Monmouth County, New Jersey and settled on lands in what is now Holmdel Township.1,2

     Daniel died in January 1728.2

     Daniel Hendrickson, son of Daniel Hendrickson and Catharine Van Dyke, was born on 5 January 1723.1,2

     Daniel was educated circa 1743; Yale College, at which he graduated, and was then sent to France to complete his education as a minister of the Reformed church, but later his artistic instincts caused him to abandon that idea and become an artist.3

     Daniel married Catharine Couwenhoven, daughter of Cornelius Couwenhoven, on 22 December 1743.1,2

     Daniel died on 24 June 1788, at age 65.2
