     Albert Van Dyke Lott, son of Samuel Lott and Ryme Van Dyke, was born on 2 September 1827 at New York.1

     Albert married Mary Wyckoff circa 1847.

     Albert died on 21 December 1910, at 109 St. Mark's Place, Brooklyn, Kings, New York, at age 83,2 and was buried on 22 December 1910 at Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery, Brooklyn, Kings, New York.3

Census

     Albert Van Dyke Lott appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, in the household of his mother, Ryme.4

     Albert and Mary appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Flatlands, Kings, New York, enumerated 14 June 1880.5

     Albert and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, enumerated 1 June 1900 Albert was renting. The census indicated Mary had five children, only four living. Their children, Minnie, Anna and Herbert were listed as living with them.6

     Albert and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings, New York, enumerated 16 April 1910. Albert was living on his own income Their children, Minnie, Anna and Herbert were listed as living with them.7

ALBERT VAN DYKE LOTT -

Albert Van Dyke Lott died yesterday morning of hemorrhage of the brain at his residence, 109 St. Mark's place. He was a retired farmer and descended from the oldest families in Flatlands. He was born on Flatlands Neck, September 21 1826, and was the son of Samuel Lott and Ryme Van Dyke. He gave up farming sixteen years ago. He remembered as a boy making a hay stack on the site of the Borough Hall. He was one of the oldest members of the Flatlands Dutch Reformed Church, and his remains will be buried in the churchyard. He leaves a widow, Mary Wyckoff, a son, Herbert and a daughter, Anna.2
