     Edna Sally Morrison, daughter of William B. Morrison and Alice "Surname Unknown", was born on 22 May 1919 at Rochester, New York.4

At a Valintine party last evening in their home, Mr. and Mrs. William B. Morrison, Ravenwood Avenue, announced the engagement of their daughter, Miss Edna Morrison, to Harry Rawstrom, Rugby Avenue, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rawstrom of Montclair, N. J.5


     Edna married Harry Wilfred Rawstrom, son of Karl (Charles) Arvid Konstantin Rawstrom and Hilda Kristina Bäcklund, on 20 November 1941.1,4

     Edna died on 12 January 2010, at Millcroft Nursing Center, Newark, Delaware, at age 90,4 and was buried at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, New Castle, Delaware.6

EDNA RAWSTROM

Edna (Sally) M. Rawstrom (Morrison) Sally quietly passed away at age 90 years on January 12, 2010 at Millcroft Nursing Center in Newark, DE where she had been a resident for 15 years. Sally was born May 22, 1919 in Rochester, New York to the late William Morrison and Alice Filer Morrison. She was the youngest of three children. Sally was nicknamed by her childhood friends and worked as a stenographer before marrying her beloved husband, Harry W. Rawstrom on November 20, 1941. They moved to Newark, DE in 1946 where Harry became the University of Delaware swimming coach for 35 years, and for whom the pool was named in his honor in 1992. Sally and Harry were married for 52 years before his death in 1994. Sally worked as a secretary for many years in the Newark School District, retiring in 1983. She was also a Welcome Wagon representative. Her friendly smile and kind manner were assets in both jobs. Sally and Harry were members of the Newark United Methodist Church. They enjoyed bridge club, long walks together, Delaware football games, gardening, traveling to Master's swim meets, and their summer home in Bethany Beach, DE. The family wishes to thank the staff at Millcroft for their 15 years of dedication, caring and kindness. They also want to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice Care for their thoughtfulness and support. Sally is survived by her daughter, Susan R. Cathcart and her husband, David; and her son, Robert Raw-strom and his wife Linda; both of Newark. Sally has four grandchildren and one great grandchild.      Sarah Adaline Morrison was born on 7 July 1851.1

     Sarah married Edward P. Carr, son of John Somerfield Carr and Emma Francis Smith.1 Sarah Adaline Morrison witnessed the death of Sarah Adaline Morrison on 9 March 18971 and was buried at Huntington Rural Cemetery, Huntington, Suffolk, New York.1
